[PS3] I need help on xenoverse!!?

I have a question! When I fight certain characters in the parallel quest like when goku goes super sayian my attacks do more damage at different times! So the question is do I have to wait or the enemy to drop there guard or something so my attacks can do the most damage

Are you asking if you should wait for the enemy to drop their guard before you strike them so it would do more damage? Obviously. Just charge your strike which should cancel the opponents guard then beat the **** out of him? Like even a 3 year old would know this much.
If you're asking something else then please elaborate.
