I don't want to go to my friends or anyone I know for this. I don't like being emotional in front of them, or anyone really.

Alright, a lot of things have happened lately that has hurt me. Actually two years of shit. Shitty Stuff that I won't bore you with. But the therapy I've been doing, isn't helping.

No I'm not going to self harm, I find that stupid and it was a dumb phase I had in 7th grade, but, I'm starting to get suicidal again. I don't WANT to die, but at the same time I do.

I just need to know, what should I do? I'm not going to commit suicide tonight, but I'm afraid for my future decisions. I've asked this on several other sites (wiki answers and yahoo answers for examples) and the social anxiety forums. But besides the SA forums, some people just tell me to commit and get it over with. I need actual advice, not encouragement on my thoughts.

No one at my Christian school knows about my therapy and even if I tell them, they'll only say "I'm going to pray for you" and they just leave. So that doesn't help. Which I know most likely they won't pray for me. If they did though, God bless them.

I've prayed constantly, and it was getting a lot better. Until two weeks ago. Now I'm feeling extra horrible again. Help?

Do you think this is bad enough to go to the hospital for? If it is, I WILL tell my parents.

Take initiative and caught negative things out of your life, anybody that makes you feel that way, cut 'em out. Do things that make YOU happy, chill with friends, focus on the positive things, don't let anything negative ruin your vibe. If you need anyone to talk to, feel free to PM me.

Ooo ooo. Go workout. Lifting heavy things around is one of the best stress relievers you can come across. And you'll get buff. Getting buff= woman. Boom no longer a sad panda

Don't commit suicide because do you know the people around how they are going to feel with out you like have you thought of your parents they must love so don't commit suicide plus if you did you might have missed so good things in your life so don't have bad thoughts always be positive no matter what just please don't take away your life. like what if you always wanted to do something in life but you couldn't because you will already be dead so think carefully of your decision because i don't think that's worth it..I just hope you the best

plus if you die now you will never find out the ending of naruto so think about it

Suicide is not an answer to any problems, remember that. It cannot solve anything, so don't do it. I think the best way to overcome your problem is that have someone to listen to your problems. You need to open up or release your feelings. Because if you don't, the pain will accumulate until there comes the time that you don't know what to do.

I have a puppy. Like, I don't want to die, but it keeps passing in my head constantly. And I'm diagnosed with clinical depression and the pills aren't helping enough..

Well, my lifespan expectancy is 31 years old...but there's 15 years of life ahead me that I'm aware of..

why don't u use that emotion build a strong mind to control yourself i grew up with a black friend who was born with a birthmark that covered half his face didn't have to good living conditions he got picked on alot he eventually built a mindset that controlled that massive amount of emotions now everybody loves him every girl wants to **** him he really changed believe it he's really funny in his head he uses humor about his self and everyone else its good energy plus when u make people laugh u can create ideals or even control them but i think i should stop now just stick with the first part

It always helps that you have a support system either with family members or closest friends. They don't have to be a lot, they only have to be dependable and open-minded enough to hear your thoughts without you fearing of being judged or abandoned.

How are you feeling? Do you have times that you feel extremely happy and energetic, after days of being unhappy, down, and experiencing suicidal ideations? If so, please don't allow yourself to be alone during your happy phase, since this is when you need someone to be there for you.

Feel free to pm members who are willing to listen to your thoughts.

You need to tell someone about how you are being suicidal because keeping it inside isn't going to help. I would tell your youth pastor or leader and pull them aside and tell them what's going on. They'll understand you and give you encouragement. I'm a Christian myself, and I really think you should tell someone and if you don't want to tell anybody then tell your parents they are there for you and want to help you with your issues.

That's a start, that you have sought out the help of a professional. Now one of the hindrances to a successful treatment for your condition is your willingness, openness and participation during your sessions. If you are willing to heal and willing to improve, don't mind the baby steps eventually you'll get there. The therapist is only there to guide you to that positive mindset, ultimately most of the workload will fall on you.

It's good that your mom is there to listen, and hopefully you have other means of communication like IM to talk about it with your friends.

Because when you are depressed, you don't have the energy to do anything. When suddenly you become happy,energetic and full of life, that's when you have the power and energy to commit it. ^_^ Trust me on this. This is why people who have suicidal tendencies are closely monitored and are never left alone especially when they're suddenly happy. It's when they feel great that they can do anything, and that includes killing themselves.

Only thing you can get here at NB is sympathy, facietious insults, or pep talks/advice.

Best thing I cansay is that in life everyone experiences difficulty too different degrees. Nobody was raised or had the same kind of childhood. Everyone has different levels of tolerance to pain, and stress. We have different likes and dislikes, habits, fears, religions, beliefs, talents, flaws, virtues, vices etc. The list goes on and on. We're a complex species.

That being said, nobody will ever be able to 100% understand your feelings or anyone else's for that matter. Everyone will die at some point. The difference is how we die. Some die early while some die late. Some choose or know their death and some don't see it coming. People with depression who face a seemingly immense obstacle will eventually deal with what you're dealing with. In a way I can relate to ya. The reality is that those who experience depression either kill themselves, persevere till the bitter end, or find a way out. The hardship we all experience is what makes us stronger people in the end.

I also read in one of your replies to someone above that you are on pills. I am against psychotropic drugs that deal with depression. I use Cannabis (aka Weed, Marijuana, etc.) and it helps my life in a lot of aspects; I'm sure it would help yours too. I can say that it is also a safer, more affective alternative to pills made for depression symptoms. If you live in a state where marijuana is legalized medicinally, recreationally or at the very least decriminalized - then I recommend you experiment with this all natural, organic alternative.

You still have years ahead of you and you just need to ignore the negative stuff in your life. I take it that you are 16 and you are young. I don't know what it is that gives you those thought but just do your best in school. Find something you like to do very much and make it a hobby. Have fun but the safe way. For example, see comedies/ movies with friends, go to fun places like amusements parks and if money is a problem you can still find fun activities to do. Taking walks in the beach/parks or exercise and it will make you feel better and be healthier.

There are a lot of things still to come and the problem or problems you have are nothing compared to what your life is worth. Always look in the bright side and ahead because what happens if you do something successful the next day and your life is changed.

Heres a joke hope you laugh. You need to get talk no jutsu by Naruto right about now. Oh wait I think I kind of started it.

Suicide is not a option. I actually had to stop a friend from committing suicide. It is not fun. You have people who genuinely care for you. How does Doom know? Because every human I feel has someone that will be affected by a death of a loved one. Do you really want to put others through the pain of losing someone? Who you wanna go through that pain? No I bet not. Be stronger. We all have good days and good times. We also have bad times too. It's a part of life. But you have to realize, life is a gift. Don't throw away a precious gift without even knowing the potential happiness you can achieve later in life. Meditate, go to the park. Do art. Live life and enjoy the little things. Keep your head up champ. It'll get better.

Also when people commit suicide most of the time they are in the heat of the moment when all their negative emotions reaches a boiling point. Yet when they commit it, they don't really want to do it. They just find a alternate action to deal with the stress at that said moment. Live life with a optimistic set of mind regardless and you'll do fine champ.
