I Need An Opinion On This

I need help with my AO3 story that I'm doing for The Next Avengers (The Avengers' Children). It sets ten years after Ultron is defeated. Banner has died of old age and Tony is beginning to do so as well.

Tony has placed Captain America x Black Widow's son as the new leader. Shield is being rebuilt as the team helps the world and its remaining human population is rebuilding as well.

That's until Andreas De Rutyer and his team (Including Black Pather's oldest wedlock son, who no one had any idea about) wants to turn everyone against them, because it was Stark's fault for creating Ultron. Andreas found the cradle and has rebuilt himself. He is an unstoppable force that doesn't want the Avengers to have a say in the world for being associated with Tony Stark.

I need someone opinion on this. Do you think it's good or bad, because I'm kinda skeptical about the story.

Sounds typical Good vs Evil, but without the charm of the heart of New Avengers, kids finding their way and growing up. I think you need to keep that idea in mind when writing this sort of adventure, what sort of trials will the new avenger go through to fulfill their parents legacy? If you keep that theme in mind, it can go far.

Yeah, that's what I'm trying to do as well. Can you help?

.James has a difficult time finding the confidence his father, Captain America, had to lead the Avengers. He's afraid he'll fail in the end and that he doesn't have what it takes to step up to the plate.

.Torunn wants to appease her father, Thor, who watches her from Asgard. She wishes to one day join his side. But Thor wants her to learn what it takes to be a Queen (She's the princess) like he had to before he became king. It's like Hercules wanting to join Zeus, but he had to learn how to be a true hero first.

.Hawkeye Jr. wants to protect his siblings, who are now becoming young adults. He's too scared to lose them, but they are getting irritated by his overprotective attitude.

.Prym wants to travel and become an explorer, but hero work gets in the way.

.Azari struggles to fight against his newly discovered brother, who hates the fact that their father supposedly abandoned him before he married Storm. Truth is BP never knew about him. Azari doesn't want to kill him, but if he doesn't, he will die.

I like that, but I think a stronger arc would not to skimp over those ten years. I would have the hulk and tony die, and spur the growth in the kids. Heck, you could even add a new Iron Man into it if you wanted, to really solidify the idea of New Avengers. You could also have the group meet other children of superheroes. Such as Spider-man etc etc.
