well i'm not socially awkward, i have friends. But i hate to admit it i have trouble getting a gf, i cant seem to make girls like me. idk what to do or how i can change it. anyone who can help? id appreciate the advice

yeah i shouldve put that sorry, im 16, im a sophmore. Idk why but highschool has been great but i cant seem to get a girlfriend... a girl actaully asked me to freshman prom last year and i was so happy but when we went to the dance she asked me to get drinks and when i came back she was dancing with another guy and i was left alone the whole night with the drinks. And after that the begging of sophmore year the girlfriend i had was cheating on me and i got her flowers on our 6 month anniversery and she said "where am i supposed to put these" and she threw them on the ground... but we broke up 7 months ago and i cant get a girlfriend
Damn that sounds really tough bro. Honestly, theres not much I can tell you besides, "Just be yourself" and "Be cool". Try not to seem desperate or anything.
Walk around without weight on your shoulders and don't ever expect someone to be perfect. If your having these problems now, then it might take a while, but it gets easier sooner or later as long as you don't let anyone bring you down.
Dam man, that was harsh. Don't worry about it too much. Just be yourself and you'll find the right girl. I understand the pressure high school puts on us guys, but in the end its just a big headache.

Seems to me you are trying to hard. Girls at that age likes guys that stand out. You don't have to be good looking you just need to be yourself and be confident in who you are. They like guys who like to have fun. Depending on the kind of girl you are looking for. Don't go out with just anyone just because you want a GF. You have to find someone that likes the things you like. Don't rush it if you rush it it could be a disaster. It is best to let it find you. So quit searching so hard. Your 16 enjoy being around your friends. You have your whole life ahead of you.
yea harsh times man im sorry =/ i dont really know what to tell you there would need to be more detail on where your having trouble (i too am 16 and a sophomore) but i dont really expect you to pour out every little detail on a forum thread. good luck tho hope things start to get better

they followed me around constantly every where i went and it was so awkward because i didn't even talk to them and they never said anything to me.
they ended up being my stalkers...
so thats when i decided to act nice and telling corny jokes ect ect in an effort to get them off me...
