i guess naruto is immune to IT according to nick01 and michael, can some one please post the scan where this is clarified? i probably missed that scan. maybe i misread because i remember sasuke telling naruto not to leave his susano or else he would be affected and 1shoted by IT.

i guess BZ was wrong when he said it was sasukes rinnegan that was able to protect them from
the jutsu. or did i misread? lol

No it isn't, genjutsu is a Yin feat go read the manga only people with Yin release are genjutsu types. And more importantly, Naruto has Hagoromo's chakra just like Sasuke therefore should be able to block IT's light just like Sasuke.

Rinnegan itself is needed to negate the Rinnegan technique. Naruto was not immune to Inginite Tsukuyomi, as much as i guess you wish he was.

As correctly stated above, Sasukes Susanoo is the reason naruto was not caught in the genjutsu. He didnt use his susanoo to protect kakashi... or sakura. It was to protect naruto from falling prey and ending up cocoonized.

Kushina did not die straight away only because of the fact she was Uzumaki and therefore had an extremely strong lifeforce and chakra reserve. She would have died regardless because the kyuubi was extracted, just not straight away.

Susanoo was powered by Sage chakra and therefore repelled IT's light, TSB are made with Sage chakra and therefore should be able to block IT's light.

BZ mentioned Rinnegan but where do you think Rinnegan comes from ? It's a reference to having Hagoromo's power, Susano'o is a Sharingan feat therefore the Sharingan is what blocked IT and it was because it was powered by Sage chakra which was responsible for awakening Rinnegan.

And read my post before putting words in my mouth, I said TSB should be able to block the light not Kurama's avatar. Go back to the manga and will see that the balls can be used to shield the person's entire body in a sphere. There would be no space for the light to enter and therefore Naruto wouldn't get caught in IT. Why ? Because Goududama are made of Sage chakra just like Sasuke's Susanoo.
