Jiraya was such a fun character to have in the series. He was hilarious and dangerously powerful rivaling the leader of akatsuki pain(according to pain he could of beaten him if he knew the secret). At least he died like a man though, he drowned with a smile on his face.

He was popular in the anime but I started reading the manga right before his fight with pain and was like OH NOEZ WHY when he died. I liked him mainly because he was the krillin of the series in terms of comic relief and the piccolo in terms of strength.
