I miss the old days.

I was just having a discussion with someone about the fights that we like in the series. I'm a taijutsu fan myself. I mean all the ninjutsu and genjutsu can be really cool and the shinobi have to get stronger and face more obstacles, but I miss the hand to hand combat. I feel like it's becoming more of a magic show than the stealth and expertise that I think of when I think "ninja".

What do you guys think?

thats cause when ninja's do hand to hand combat it looks kinda lame except for the Nejji and Hinata fight...epic!!! and Itachi vs Kakashi hand to hand combat was awesome to eventhough it was like 5 seconds....

well u cant really have much hand to hand against tobi for obvious reasons and madara wouldnt stand a chance against A hand to hand, but yeah itd be nice

Yeah, the manga right now is mainly based on Ninjutsu. and the animation is kinda crappy in the anime, unlike in the very first episodes.

It used to be more believable that they were ninjas, now they're magic ninjas or something.. I cant see anyone winning any fight with a normal kunai or taijutsu atm.
