I`m going with Kiba being the strongest of team 8 currently

Just going with straight manga facts:

Kiba: defeated 7 juubi clones in just one atack, cutting all of them in a half.

Considering this atack a very fast atack, and its a lot stronger than any of the atacks hinata or shino could make.

Shino: Defeated 1 juubi clone with 1 atack

Hinata: With her strongest atack she managed to K,O his opponent (note: it didn't die like kiba's victims or shino's only victim)

So in my opinion:

Kiba's stronger atack can eliminate around 7 enemies in one blast, cutting them in a half (if this hits you, there's no doubt you die, remember sakon and ukon, they were cutted in a half, and this atack is even stronger)

Shino's stronger atack can SURELY eliminate 1 enemy, saying that if SURELY kills his victim, but there's just 1 victim per blast and.. does hino really have the speed enough to do this atack to not-fodder enemy?

Hinata's atack K.O'd one opponent..

...Wait until there is further proof. There is very little to go on here. Kiba has more power, but Hinata has more defensive skills and Shino's abilities are alot more diverse and strategy-able than Kiba's.

Shino will use bug clones that Kibas attack goes straight through picking bugs up and the rest follow the scent.

The Byakugan itself has foresight, as in predicting movement....Kiba's attack alone actually has a pretty predictable attack pattern/path....with this said, I think it's safe for me to say that Hinata could dodge this.

Agreed, kibas new attack demonstrated 2 things. That he no longer loses his sight and thus doesn't have to premark the opponents to hit them and that it is extremely fast with a huge aoe affect. Tail chaser is very difficult to dodge indeed.

With that said shino is most definetly a problem since he is very clever. But with that said kibas nose elimates the use of bug clone feints, which means shino has to somehow avoid tail chaser and I don't see it happening. Besides if kiba gets in real trouble they can split the wolf again and make the shadow clone take the hit - like how akamaru covered kiba against sakon/ukon.

Shino is the best of the three.
Kiba probably has the most raw power but the least diversity or strategic skill. In other words he's an idiot who squanders his talent.

So because Kiba's newest attack defeated more Juubi Clones and has more raw power, it means he's the strongest? That's how I understood your post.

I have leaned towards Shino being the strongest in Team 8 and I still do.

Shino's Insect Globe is described as almost inescapable. We can only speculate if once caught speed can help Kiba escape it. Kiba can be very predictable. No mater how much speed and power his attacks have, he always charges straight forward. Once Shino knows Kiba and Akamaru are going Three-Headed, he'll know what comes next. As soon as Kiba uses Kage Bunshin it'll be an obvious "Oh, I can see where this is going".

Shino's Great Parasite, maybe it can only hit one enemy at a time. It was never confirmed. As for Shino's speed, since the attack in a close-range I'm guessing his speed may have increased a little.

But if the number of victims a technique takes is a factor of power than both Shino and Kiba have the advantage. I just give it to Shino because while he doesn't have raw power and speed, he greatly makes up for it by having a more vast jutsu and being devise.


Edit: Kiba's nose isn't really a problem either. If needed, Shino could easily spread his scent (if he can hide) by separating pieces of his clothing: his headband, one of his jackets...

This "new" jutsu proved that he is exelent aiming with it, he striked 7 opponents in a row. also, its so big and powerfull that i don't think he needs to aim...

(Kiba's aiming is good now)
