Let me rephrase what I had said, "not everything on the internet is supposed to be the truth."
If someone is treated like an animal they eventually become one. The people you guys were talking about lived in a environment and age filled with immorality and pride. In their time it was considered killing you're enemies and destroying others as a good thing, a prideful thing(all barbarians). They were all decieved, for them life had little value. There are religions which greatly emphasize the importance of human life.
As for you're statement, history is only the outcome of events of which we have no proof of. There is no validity in history, its all biased, I hope you do not accept hole heartedly what you hear in the news and read in the history books, do you?
