I love power! Does anyone else? Screw you power haters!!! >:(

This is more of a vent thread, but I just wanted to make this thread as a breath of fresh air to express how much I hate those freaking power haters!

They are always trying to ruin my favorite series (plural)! These people want to eliminate crap tons of lore and story elements that deepen the overall universe, just so that people don't become too "OP".

These people just fail to understand that power often comes as natural result of some plot points!!

Take the juubi for example. The power haters probably just wish it didn't exist. Alright, so because of these people, I would just have to accept that there were just these 9 random powerful creatures (the bijuus) on Earth, that were just there for no reason (instead of getting some actual lore that also connects to other parts of the overall verse). This would be the case if the power haters got what they wanted!

I would just have to access that some people just have these random powerful eyes with no particular origin or anything!

I'd have to go on knowing that there is a real of power in the NV, far beyond what Naruto Uzumaki showed, but I'd never get to see it!!!!!!!!!!!!

I freaking hate those power haters! They are so annoying!

If they want to see weak people fighting, can't they just go drive down to the hood and see that crap in real life?


Then these nuisances always want to end series so early!

Screw them!!!!!!!! I want something to look forward to! If you don't like it, you don't have to watch it or read it!

I'm done ranting now, but I really am just sick of all the power haters. Especially since they are so prevalent these days! It's like, everywhere I turn the bastards show up trying to ruin my entertainment! I'm always hearing, "boo hoo, Nerf this guy. Nerf that guy. Weak weak weak"

I hate it!




Is there even a single soul out there who enjoys high power battles like I do? I feel like I am alone in this world on this issue.

I like humans too, but the avatars just enhance the fighting. Adds more power and explosiveness!

Just as ours’ is ours’. What you say enhances the fights cheapens it for other. Thankfully there’s a dose of both kinds of battles. But all in all I think the giant avatars just suck. I’m with Uhmusddy on this topic.

I think the problem is Naruto's meant to be a story about ninja, startegy, deception, using the terrain to your advantage and not avatar battles. They're(flashy explosions) not very ninja like and stand out like a sore thumb.

I don't think people have a problem with the Jyubi rather the problem is how a ninetails and 8 tails jin were able to match the Jyubi, recharge like they're on super juice and carry on fighting. A chakra cloak was able to protect everybody with a chakra cloak from Jyubi level attacks. Kishi didn't do a very good job at keeping the power levels properly scaled at that point.

Sophisticated people enjoy strategy, well thought out and written characters and plots. On the other hand those with adolescent tendencies enjoy power ups, explosions and flashy light shows without looking at whether there's rationale or depth behind them.

Power battles are great but Salamander has a point. Naruto ending up as an avatar visual fest kind of ruined it. Samurai-X was awesome at having battles that kept it real.

Before you had to use your actual skills, your brain ,knowledge about opponent, terrain, tactics to defeat your opponent .Now just 1 man can defeat an entire army with their avatars.

Balance is needed. 1 Indeed powerful character should be able to defeat at max 3 very good characters and he should go all out not defeat them easily. In current situation 1 character can defeat 1000 of them just by spamming Susanoo and TBB and what is sad they don't even need to put some effort to do so.

I’ve seen G Gundam, and a lil bit of the others.

I liked Zoids.

Gurren Lagann is one of my favorite anime of all time.

Code Geass is also one of my favorites.
