When I first read the title, I thought this would be a anti-pairing thread. Surprise, surprise... I was wrong. This is yet another pairing thread.

The pairing thing has been going on in the forum for a while now. I am to the point where I don't even care anymore. I think we all should just focus on the story on hand and not really worry about who will end up with who. I obviously want to see who any of these characters would end up with, because to me that would be a fitting end to there characters. But right now I think its best if we stop guessing or talking about who will end up with who till the manga finishes.

well i definitely don't think that a full blown sasusaku pairing will ever be confirmed, but it was heavily implied. implication in this manga when it comes to "romance" is basically the same as an official pairing. shika tema is implied but all of us probably consider it almost "legal" if you will. the mere fact that sasusaku was implied at the end of the manga is almost like its "official".....i wanna cry :(. lol
This whole manga, like many manga, has really avoided the idea of romance entirely. It just doesn't cover adult topics like that, and never really has.

Honestly, name me one romantic relationship in the entire history of the manga where we see some love and romance? I can name one, maybe two: Minato+Kushina and MAYBE Asuma and Kurenai. In the later one, they always denied having a relationship until after Asuma died (and we only see like one scene of her grieving the death, and we never see her again). We do see some other couples who are married, but we never see any tenderness or romance in any of those cases. We see kids, so we have to assume they were intimate at some point in the past.

The "relationship" between Sasuke and Sakura is as forced and pathetic as the "relationship" between Naruto and Hinata. Both of them are unreciprocated crushes which are only mentioned when necessary for the plot and completely ignored otherwise.

Sasuke has been a jerk for 600 chapters of the manga and never once demonstrated any kind of caring for Sakura EXCEPT for that one scene where he leaves the village and she tries to stop him. Naruto and Hinata at least had that one scene where they held hands when fighting the Juubi.

Now that I think about it, Naruto and Sakura have hugged each other more than any other pair. Not that this means anything, of course. But naruto has also referred to Sakura as his "girlfriend" more than any other pairing either. Not great.

Kishi either doesn't know how to write romance, or he is intentionally targetting the manga at a younger audience and doesn't want to get involved with adult themes. In either case, the "relationships" in the manga are all pathetic, and Sasuke+Sakura is probably the worst because, in addition to being completely ignored, Sasuke has actively been written in a way that makes him emotionally incompatible with Sakura.

They will end up together, but it will be forced and all the reconciliation and courting will happen during a timeskip.

You say all this but don't see that Sasuke is not the same as before. He deosn't have hatred.Revenge isn't his goal anymore. That was the reason he disregarded people.

Naruto and Sakura would make a better couple and will probably be together.

I want to believe all of that about sasuke too but we still don't know his true intentions. aside from him possibly changing, i still consider their "romance" to be so sad. this would be the story they tell their kids if they got married
Sakura: I met your dad in elementary school and he ignored me everyday :D. Then he abandoned my team and barely said goodbye. Then he ignored me even more and when he finally decided to give me the time of day he almost stuck a knife in my gut and called me useless! But then he compleettllly changed and we got married and lived happily ever after. yay!!!!! He loves me soooo much!

Dumb girls that friendzone good guys always end up in abusive relationships, then the endless "men are so useless, men are the worse" bashes ignite. This is a perfect lesson for sakura, naruto deserves better than that boob less thing lol.

Trust me, I would be fine with no pairings I prefer pairings be left to fan fiction. But the implication of sasusaku really riles me up. In real life I have never seen such a toxic couple. Its sad honestly. it completely took all my attention from the actual plot. on the other hand I think it does relate to the actual story b/c personally I feel like so many things in the manga are popping up outta no where. Like kishi is changing his mind a lot and writing bs alternatives that diverges from anything anyone would've expected. i won't name specifics, but the sasusaku moment from last week was definitely one of those what tha eff moments. like, when did sasuke start caring about her when a few chapters ago he called her useless and basically would've left her to fall into lava.

To be very honest, I think Sasuke X Sakura pairing is perfectly realistic. Just like someone said on this thread if anything its realistic. In real life women tend to go for the bad ass's, like guys who don't give a shit yet end up getting a girl because they got it all in the looks etc. This abusive sort of relationship is perfectly normal in the sub content. Where a poor family would give a rich guy there daughter. In the end having the daughter living a abusive life. Love is blind, there is no denying that. I know this sort of relationship would realistically look poisonous, But it is what Sakura wants. So there is no stopping that. Also to add to that it's Kishi's manga so i am sure he will make it work.
