I can not say much about Gai since i did expect more of him after Neji's death, but the points regarding to Hiashi and Lee are ridiculous. Hiashi said he is sorry for failing to protect Neji, and you might as well missed whole point of IT dreams (living in a perfect world which no bad things happened) if that was what Lee is about. Who tf is Tenten?

Why you have a need to bring other characters down to make Hinata look better? Just go and admit they all suck for the most part.

Hinata is a satellite of Naruto; Sakura is a satellite of Sasuke.
Hinata BENEFITS from it, and Naruto BENEFITS from it as well.

And Gai was his sensei and Lee his BF. Using blood bonds as an excuse just shows how stupid your mind set is. It's very simliar to Kishi's own mind set actually, and that's not a good thing.

How can you make such a stupid comparison when both cried for pretty much the same amount of time? And Hinata was shown remembering Neji in regrets, dreamt of him being alive, attended his funeral, named her son after him, and still visits his grave.
