Won't deny that Kishi MAY have been lowkey trying to make it come off as something kinky, but from an in-universe perspective, at least it makes sense. And just because Neji has tape only on his limbs, it doesn't mean others can't put it else where. It's for protection, so placing it anywhere is acceptable. She's protecting her abs and legs.

Although she did badass things in Today's chapter . With this awful design i can't take her seriously anymore . In Naruto gaiden she was a BOSS!! Now she looks like a stripper . RIP Sarada GREATNESS . I hoped that you would be something special in Boruto manga but nope . I aint taking her seriously with all that ugliness .
