Obito is nothing but a pawn. No, he's beyond a pawn, he's a puppet that dances when Madara yanks the strings.

He didn't decide to turn evil, Madara forced it by tricking him. Hardly any descision was his own. It took Naruto to change his mind, yet another person yanking his strings.

Does he have a mind of his own?

Is this not how it's always been?

It's pretty much obvious that Obito was nothing but a toy to Madara.

I still like his character. Against all odds, he made the decisions.

well Madara might have created the circumstances that changed Obito but, tricked or not he did start a war, controlled the akatsuki, saved Naruto and is holding his ground in the battle against Madara/doing what he can to stop him from getting the Rinnegan (true accomplishments). he might not have been the mastermind but, he's not someone to be taken lightly.

that is worthy of respect if you ask me :yeah:.

also getting tricked into believing something when he was a CHILD is meaningless, you should be looking at what he decided to do as a grown man who learned the truth hmm

Obito's feats are still intact though.
You also have to give credit for his hard work (manipulating Nagato, starting 4th shinobi war etc..)

What obito did, whether he was evil or good, is more than enough to deserve praise.

It just goes to show that obito is similar to naruto where he won't let anything stop him from achieving his goal. However due to obvious reasons only the main character has a stronger conviction & will.

Even if obito turned out to be an ally, his mindset was similar to naruto's & with his power he would reach his other goal of becoming hokage in no time.

Love made him weak as it does with everyone. I want him to die, he won't though, so whatever.
