tbh i hate the theme other shonen have also friendship and it´s ok but seriously FT is exaggerating as long as someone is in the guild the always win serious fights and come on the power of friendship freezes time and they don´t age that´s just stupid but that´s just my opinion and other may like it and also like everything on FT except the theme

hmm....but i think FT show friendship in a different way.....and the theme is also different...that is why i became a fan of FT

The friendship theme is very similar to Yu-Gi-Oh series. Sure, other shonen series got some mini-themes or arcs on friendship powers but I think Yu-Gi-Oh and Fairy Tail tops it all.
Always stay with your friend, have some belief in friends whatever the dangers, do not break the friendship code while in battle, strengthen all your power by the friendship' bonds and overcome all battles with those bonds. In short, keep saving the world with friendship power.
Oh well, I like both series extremely and since some months, Fairy Tail is my most awaited manga of the week.
One thing though: Fairy Tail's theme won't click as well if there wasn't some comedic moments and hilarious trolling in the sauce. This glazed the theme to make it awesome along with some other factors obviously.
