I like Madara, but I would prefer if Obito was the main villain

Madara hasn't really done anything that has affected Naruto or Sasuke. Obito has relations to Kakashi, Minato, Gai, Naruto, Sasuke etc. The only real relations Madara has is with Hashirama and Tobirama. Another reason is that Madara was only introduced in one arc. Obito had been foreshadowed to be Naruto's greatest obstacle for a long time, so it doesn't seem right that Madara just randomly comes in. Obito has followed through with Madara's plans because of his hatred for the ninja village system. Madara shouldn't even know how the ninja system works. That's why I feel that Obito should have been the villain instead of Madara.

I kind of agree, but Madara has more of the style of the standard Shounen main villain.

Lets see where Kishi takes this, maybe he intends for Madara and Naruto to develop more of a grudge as things progress.
