I know who the Final Sage is?

After hearing kabuto say that there was another place where you can attain sage mode I went on a misson to find who could have possibly been the next sage. I Finally think i discovered..........

Hiruzen Sarutobi (3rd hokage). And this is my theory why.

When kabuto named all the legendary places where you could train to become sage he spoke of Shikkotsu forest (Damp bone forest). I Believe that thats where The Great Monkey king Enma could live. And it would also make since that Jiraiya and Orochimaru could have learn of the diffrent sages from Hiruzen and Enma since that was there teacher. And jairya and oro seem to be the only ones who we now know of sage modes (other than there apprientices kauto and naruto).

Now I know some people would say if he was a sage why didnt he transform when he fought orochimaru.. Well i have concluded that kishi was not ready to introduce sage mode to use yet. But it was stated in the anime that Hiruzen constantly trained with Enma, and the only other people i know to train with their summons are sages. It WOULD also add to why he was named God Shinobi, Strongest Hokage, Legendary professor. Being a sage would have inhanced his powers x10..


So there are my theories but i would love to know what you all think.

alot of people have said that hiruzen could be the monkey sage, and that all huge summons could have a sage animal and place to train.

you're just saying that because you probably just read the chapter about Son the ape sage and thought he HAD to be the other animal relating to sage mode huh?

What i believ has nothing to do with Son Goku, im only goin off what i heard orochinmaru called Hiruzen when they fought. He Specificalyy called him "the Great sage". It is because of that that i claim Hiruzen is the 3 sage. i dont believe there is more that three because kabuto stated in the mange that there where only 3 secret locations. I think the damp bone forest is a place where monkeys/apes could live. but i dont know for sure im just givin the best opinion i can with the knowlege that i have.

Yes orochimaru has stated it in the youtube link i posted if you go to 4:15 then you will here him say it.

becuase maybe kishi wasnt ready to introduce it or that was sage mode in the first naruto story, and it went into more detail in shippuden.

hiruzen did own. he took on 3 kage level ninja by himself. AND WON.

Maybe kishi wasnt ready to show the power of the sage and since Hiruzen was already powerful perhaps it wasnt needed and he hadnt mastered it to where he could have gathered natural chakra in time.

I actually think Hiruzen might have had one, and I like this theory. What i'm saying is, it's possible and i'm not ruling it out.

I don't recall that scene in the manga, but even if it was, him calling him a sage is just him referring to his wisdom. Nothing more, nothing less.

If he would have said Monkey Sage or whatever, you might would have a point. Just sage, though? Nope.

You make a good point as well, BUT it just makes since that if he was sage he

1. Could have taught jiraiya and orochimaru about it
2. why he trained with Enma (to learn more senjutsu)
3. why he was stronger than the 1st and 2nd

The link you posted was a dub. The Dub has been known to make up stuff/ makes mistakes, such, among other things, referring to Tailed Beats as Jinchuriki. And Hiruzen could've been a Sage in the same way that the sage of the Six Paths was. They even shared the title "God of Shinobi".
