I mean I was not really a huge fan of his character and did want him to die at the time but I was just thinking how interesting and awkward it would have been during the wedding if he had survived the war. With Orochimaru and Kabuto facing no consequences for their actions I see no reason why Obito would not be free to move around too. He did help defeat Kaguya and got Naruto to call him the coolest guy. He could show up to the wedding and wish Naruto and Hinata well.
In a video message he could even list of why he is the only reason they got married in the first place. He could be like well if I did not kill your parents then Hinata would not be able to relate to you being alone and a loser. If he did not kill Iruka's parents then Iruka also would not have been able to relate to Naruto either which was a part of the last episode. Then if he had not sent Pain to attack Konaha then Hinata would not have confessed. Also if he had not killed Neji then they would not have had the moment in the war. Also him collecting the tailed beats and summoning the Jubi is the reason Toneri even came to Earth which is what ultimately got them together. So he could mention just how instrumental he was to their marriage. Hinata also may have given him death glares the whole time which would be made better by Naruto calling him the coolest guy again.
Edit- Also imagine chapter 700 comes along with Hinata and her kids visiting Neji's grave and Obito walks by after seeing Rin. He greets them and Boruto and Himawari are cheerful with him since Naruto likes him so much and he asks what they are doing and then he sees the grave and is like :hyper:. Hinata's reaction would be great again too.
