That's the wrong question to me. I believe it's be more like...what created the universe? Now, not all atheists turn to science, but I do. There are a few hypothesis as to what created the universe, however we have theorized that it started with the singularity.
I don't think there was any being that created the universe.

I understand. Though, I focus on the person more than the religion. And before I say anything that might seem...contradictory to their convictions, I first ask if I may speak freely. It seems like the respectful thing to do when it comes to criticizing religion. Ya know?

I don't agree with condescension either.
Nobody can disprove a negative. I can't prove that God doesn't exist any more than you can prove that unicorns don't exist.
Someone can say,"This exists." And when the lack of evidence comes to light, delusional rationalizations start rolling in...
Though, I may have strong opinions towards it, I try not to speak them unless they're asked for.

Easy there, please try and understand that some Christians do the same thing to atheists on the web. It happens, hateful people exist. What provokes them can be quite a mystery, though.
Also, it's best not to generalize a group of people. It isn't most atheists, just a small minority of them that don't understand how ignorant they're being.
Forgive me if I got too 'touchy' there, it's just a really negative stigma down here in the bible belt that people like me are monsters.

Yeah, as someone said it tends to be common on anime or game sites.

Personally, I'm not very religious at all, but I like to believe in God or something. I'm in the middle/not caring zone I guess lol
