In the history of the series, nearly every last character has stated "and I'm almost/running out of chakra" and I mean other than maybe once or twice in the manga, even if that at all(can't remember) Naruto has never been out of chakra and neither has Kurama. In the final clash we get to see Naruto with no chakra/what it's like when Naruto is actually running on E. Interesting, Naruto solos

Naruto is never tired. He can keep on fighting. He fights Kaguya with full force, still doesn't get tired and fights Sasuke. Also Naruto has nothing to lose hence he doesn't need to state I am running out of chakra and Kurama is always there replenishing his chakra. Naruto with no chakra just punching and kicking still managed to knock out the breath out of Sasuke. Naruto does solo NV with his greatness.
