It doesnt get more versatile than that. He pretty much has a counter to everything.

Madara actually states that he uses Nagato (negato uses other people for power) as a tool... so he's not versatile at all. Madara was also used and misguided by kaguya so Obviously Naruto & Sasuke & Sakura AND now the next Gen are the most versatile.... and NARUTO series is really showing everyones traits and how dynamic and versatile everyone is. Would Sage Jutsu/chakra be the most versatile... i mean. After all, The rinnegan is just an extension of the Otsusuki clan kekke get kai... While Sage chakra is focused on the human individual's hard work and senses .... And Versatility in the case of a ninja is really about being able to over come any situation.... So... Versatility is not just a virtue held by one person, yet like the will of fire, passed from one to another through various deeds and overcomings.

I'm positive that it won't happen because Sasuke hasn't touched any of Nagato's 6 pain powers so far. He just keep showing new rinnegan jutsus every time we seen him.
So I wouldn't expect anything now that it's been two series so far and nothing. The man has one arm and not even Shurado happened, needless to say that the anime gave him a summoning scroll for weapons. Think about that.

Summoning the King of Hell may be the most difficult out of the six but they are simpletons all the same compared to the complexity of Amenotejikara.

As for why he hasn't shown them, it could be the same reason Naruto hasn't shown the levitating black orbs either whatever they are called, he's about as nerfed as Naruto is. A full powered Rinnegan isn't out of the picture yet though, especially since he can do chibaku tensei which according to Nagato's high reverence of it was the most difficult. Madara could absorb ninjutsu with his and all Rinnegan's so far besides Sasuke's can absorb ninjutsu so that one should be a given if we are to ignore the needless nerfing on him.

The anime used fillers in the VoTe fight because Sasuke certainly didn't use Kirin either. Sasuke used chibaku tensei but just so you know that Shinra Tensei/Bansho Tenin is not only Tendo's power but it's magnetic force not gravity force. Sasuke used no such thing.
Shinra tensei/Bansho tenin are both the same power being used in different direction, chibaku tensei is not one of those 6 powers, it's just a rinnegan technique that any rinnegan user is able to use.
So right now Sasuke is 0/6 right now when it comes to pain powers. King of Hades I should add is a hiden/secret art according to the 4th fan translated databook, so Sasuke won't be able to use someone else's hiden. Shurado I mentioned before for good reasons and his absorption power absorbs chakra not ninjutsus so it's clearly not nagato's gakido.

Sasuke can't absorb ninjutsus and after Madara lost his edo eyes he wasn't able to absorb ninjutsus either. According to kabuto he modified Madara's edo rinnegan powers.
Either way showing complete control over chibaku tensei shows complete control over the rinnegan, somethiing both madara and Sasuke showed but that doesn't mean he gains nagato's abilities.

He has that mimicking shadow doppelganger technique along with fake clone creating technique both of which, which can't be beaten by anything other than plot. He's pretty much versatility incarnate. Plus he's the only one with Six Paths Techniques as the databooks confirm.

Matter of fact all Rinnegan users can be equally or more advanced in reference to versatility but its a matter of Quality over quantity.

While yes Nagato has a very versatile arsenal. If you analyze the other rinnegan users abilities

their best abilities > Nagato's as there 1 ability is an answer for 5-10 of Nagato's situational abilities.
