Read the wiki. It never says that the technique kills you just that it is very costly in chakra thus you run the risk of running out of it and dying. Nagato could handle it in a massive scale because of his massive chakra pool even after a long fight. With Obito still being connected to the shell of the ten tails he has much higher chakra pools than Nagato had.

it take a bit longer for obito to die..........Madara will use rinnegans jigokudo to fuse all tailed baest, but there is a quention how will madara get Kumara's chakra. I bet Madara will suck it out of Minato....

Obito didn't die. If you'd have read the Manga, Kurama stated that the Juubi Jinchuuriki is only weakened but won't die after extraction because of the life force given by the remaining Gedo Mazo.
