my prediction is there gonna be 3 suns and 2 Mini-moons attacking the earth....then Naruto will use a rikudo no teleportation jutsu and transport all poeple to the other mini earth planet situated in galaxy Z...THIS MAKES PERFECT SENSE !!!!!!..

Well... it is no secret that Kishi completely screwed his story right after introducing the Ootsutsukis. It's just getting worse every day when new interviews from kishi or leaks from the movie come out.

I'm guessing hagoromo or hamura did some kinda of piccolo moon busting stuff and created another one after the ten tails was sealed.

I remember Naruto and Sasuke sealed Kaguya in a new moon but that moon was formed in a different dimension, and they left it there. That's the only "second moon" I can think of. If you only watch the anime and didn't finish the manga like Kishimoto told you to, you would be confused.

Are you guys talking about a moon that was there in some of the backdrops in the prologue with Kaguya running around free? Did they change the lore to say that the moon was always there and it wasn't put there by the Sage? I don't think it would create a plothole because a lore is a lore. People can also have varying accounts of the same event despite all being witnesses, and it can also change over time. We also know that Black Zetsu tampered with the story of the world (and he fancied himself the author or whatever).

The only way it would be a plothole is if someone time-traveled and saw the Sage put the moon there, and then someone else time-traveled further back and there was a moon (and it would have to be the same exact moon). Even if the Sage appeared and said with his own words that he created the moon, people can tell a lie.
