-What is sound in real?

Sounds are basically mechanical waves . These are repetitive waves with pressure on them that cause frequencies to occur and by doing so let others hear it if they are in range of the extent the waves travel. Because of this, depending through which medium they go, it can increase or decrease the extent through which the sound travels. There are also several factors that can change this, for example the room or space you are in, the temperature, humidity level in the air and so on.

Sound is one of the elements that occur(ed) in the series of naruto. Unlike other elements, sound is rather abstract because it has only been seen being frequently or decently used by 3 people (the 3 otogakure ninjas in the chuunin tournament. Also, you can not have an affinity for sound, but rather need to modify your body, or use sound itself in order to actually be able to use it. Hence why you could say it isn't a real medium as for example the Fire Element. Besides that, it was only seen in the show for a small time (less than 5 episodes?), but it was seen to be a powerful element. It was shown to have several usages, such as applying it to use the force of pressure, being able to actually disorient opponents or either inducing them in a genjutsu-like state due to sound.

-Properties of sound? possible weakness?

Well properties are hard to explain. It isn't a tangible element. Most of the times, it relies on the modifications to the body, but in our RP we found a way to deal with that, not having to get those modifications. It is an extremely fast element, and is hardly visible except when used in great amount or in extremely compressed states. There could be many possible weaknesses. Wind could disrupt sound, as it would disrupt the medium through which it travels. Earth or water could disrupt it because sound has a harder time travelling through them.

Well, it uses parts of both chakra I guess.
Wind is mostly used in, well, let's say waves that are invisible? If you combine that with the swiftness and the vibrating aspect of lightning, (thus letting the vibration and swiftness move through the waves set by the fuuton chakra) you get sound. It utilizes the most prominent attributes of the two together. Fast, invisible, vibrations and waves. Those would be the properties of ototon.

As I notice no instability into the state, and notice it's the same as before, I increase the vibration around the other chakra source bit by bit. While doing this, I start to let it mingle in with the wind chakra. Unlike before, the two are more in unison, and seem more entangled with one another. Confident about this, I increase the vibration at the same time as the spinning of the wind, and by doing so, let the mold together more easily. Once this is totally done, and I get the effect I had in mind before, I shoot it out at a rock.

What's a vacal cord? D:

I start by focusing chakra at the middle of my vocal cords. I then start to change it's properties. Once again, I shape it into two pieces, that I gently start to spin again at opposite directions. I then, as they are spinning in opposite ways, increase the cutting characteristics as I did before. I flatten the chakra, while controlling the amount and letting it spin and cut rapidly.

I then, with increasing easy due to my previous exercises, start to focus another source of chakra around it and in it, without disrupting or letting the wind chakra fluctuate. I let the chakra yet again hum slightly at first, and then increase the vibrating as I notice it isn't disrupting the wind chakra. The two combine with one another and I softly begin to whistle, playing a little with the frequencies sent out, and increasing the tone, making it higher and lower as I whisper Xylon is poop.

I start to focus the wind chakra again on my vocal cord, centralized. I Increase the cutting power at the sides, making them go to opposite sides again. Besides that, i focus more chakra into flattening it and increasing the spinning properties of the chakra. I repeat this process, making sure I take in less than last time and make sure my vocal cords don't blow up O_O. I then start to add chakra around and in it, and change the vibrations slightly at first. Once I feel like I'm not about to blow up the entire throat area again, i increase the vibrations, slightly, a little bit at a time. I combine these two as much as i can, making sure neither overlaps the other one. I then say your voice again towards you.

I start to focus the wind chakra again on my vocal cord, centralized. I Increase the cutting power at the sides, making them go to opposite sides again. Besides that, i focus more chakra into flattening it and increasing the spinning properties of the chakra. I repeat this process, making sure I take in less than last time and make sure my vocal cords don't blow up O_O. I then start to add chakra around and in it, and change the vibrations slightly at first. Once I feel like I'm not about to blow up the entire throat area again, i increase the vibrations, slightly, a little bit at a time. I combine these two as much as i can, making sure neither overlaps the other one. I then say your voice again towards you.

Focus here mate ._. using wind chakra in your throat would obviously cut it open. I'll give you a hint =.= Lightning ability to create bolts using vibration winds ability to flow.
