Obito mostly just stood around and defended himself. :|
Yep, you nailed it.
For me Madara saved the manga. Juubi jin Obito was cool at first but he got beat relatively easily and not to mention all of the flashbacks and talk no jutsu'ing. Then Madara gets revived and messes everyone up and practically kills the two main characters in two chapters. Madara was the definition of awesome and badass and he should have been the final Villain...
This is exactly what I think. Six Madaras (One visible original and five invisible Limbo clones) vs. Naruto and Sasuke would've been the perfect final fight, without ridiculous DBZ-shit like Kaguya, Susanoo-Kamui-Kakashi or Bijuu-Susanoo-Sasuke)
Sadly Madara was talking too much sometimes and also his poor or rather lack of use of JJ skills making his performance poor as JJ, instead he has hyped and unleashed power of Rinnegan, the might or Rikudou chakra very well.
His conversation to brainwash Obito again, after Naruto brainwashed him first, was very bad and unnecessary. But his explanation to "the true meaning of chakra" was great. He is nearly all-knowing and that is awesome.
According to "
his poor or rather lack of use of JJ skills"... just no. Madara possesses every single technique that was used by Nagato with Rinnegan or Obito as Jinchuuriki. Kishi just didn't show it all again because we already saw these techniques from Nagato and Obito. The failures are Obito as a Jinchuuriki and Kaguya. First Obito used up these JJ-skills so it would be boring to see everything twice. Thats the reason why Madara didn't use much of these techniques. After that... Madara got his second Rinnegan and right before he could show his full potential, Kishi took him out and brought Kaguya in. The worst decision of all time.
Madaras was better indeed, he looked much cooler aswell.
Yes, he looked by far better than Obito. Obito just looked like a weird and failed experiment, not like a god. Madara was just awesome and I love his white robe so much. But I still prefer his black, wild hair instead of this bright, fluffy hairstyle.
