why is this comparable? sakura saw him at his best and absolute worst and still carried on loving him for who he is and never even tried to manipulate him into coming back to konoha or do what she wanted him to do. itachi ruined sasukes life and turned him into what he is. if anyone has no right to say "i love you" to sasuke, its this goddamn sociopath who brutally tortured him and beat him into a coma

) it means itachis an apathetic uncaring evil brutal villain who approved sasuke no matter how deep sasuke chooses to sink.

sakura on the other hand is saddened and disgusted with herself, and loves the OLD sasuke as seen in her moments before hesitating to kill him. for itachi, sasuke > konoha. for sakura, he became an obstacle to her village but simply couldnt bring herself to kill him in cold blood. but what that means is sakura's HUMAN and has never killed anyone in her life whereas its nothing new to a former anbu captain/akatsuki member. it also means sakura has more reason to love him. as his brother, itachis almost obligated to. sakura on the other hand initially only had a puppy crush which grew into real love despite seeing him at his best AND worst. itachi had this silly idea sasuke would always be some innocent kid to be manipulated and controlled, born out of his obligation to make him strong. sakura saw what hes become and carries on having faith in him unconditionally. itachi TURNED him into what hes become and is still trying to manipulate him by showing him a flashback he should have shown YEARS AGO. she never needed a moment to think "gee i truly fuked up didnt i by not murdering sasuke in cold blood". she never needed to tsukiyomi the shit of him to make him love her. she never needed to beat him into a coma to show her love.

so i ask you, whats the difference? you bash sakura for loving a man whos already dead but might still be in there somewhere fighting to break free of obito and itachi's manipulations, but praise itachi for loving sasuke as he is now (konohas greatest threat).

You have some good points, but it's not Itachi's fault that he had to kill off his clan...but he spared Sasuke so if Itachi hadn't done that then no Sasuke and Sakura wouldn't love him and you couldn't have made this thread. Anyways I'm one of the few who like Sakura.
