Well to pimp ur profile go to user cp then to customize ur profile
i have no idea what is kumi but...it increases with number of posts...
make more friends and get to know more....then u will receive more gifts
hottest threads are the ones who are viewed and posted more then others.....

add the people you want to make friends....well as time passes...you will have more friends....

But again i am not a pro...i don't have many friends.....my profile is not visited by 1000 peoples like others....but yeah some threads of mine have reached hottest threads......welocme to narutobase

#1 = Already explained by someone I guess, but otherwise you can edit it by clicking on the "User CP" button, then on the left the fisrt section of tabs deals with profile editing.

#2 = Its basically a currency for narutobase. Many people will say it is useless but I think that it is actually quite useful. When you request a custom avatar or sig, you can offer some Kumi as payment. That way you will get a much higher quality avi/ sig then one made for free. It basically gets you better graphics and a more heavily invested art piece, so its worth it. Also things like quality GIFS (like mine, not like the GIFsoup ones) are usually harder to make, so you can send a little Kumi for the effort.

#3 = I have been on the base for a while and I don't think I have any gifts. But I don't think they do anything, its just a novelty

#4 = Hottest threads sadly tend to revolve around flame wars, Itachi, Minato and Madara. I would say make interesting and unique threads because they sometimes actually make it, but don't be surprised if it is stamped out by the endless see of Itachi vs. Madara threads.

#5 = Just make interesting, informative and friendly posts and you will build up friends in no time.

#3 gifts come from friends when you do something cool or if there is a special event but even then people are lazy to send gifts.

#4 go to The castle of Hogwarts and you can joon the threads as long as you want to no one can stop you unless the thread is specific for some people.

2. Kumi is the monetary system that NB uses, you get it simply by posting new threads/posts and/or by getting it gifted to you by other members. This mostly happens if you do GFX and make signatures/avatars for others.
3. You get gifts by your friends or yourself
4. Hottest threads are usually popular due to a flaming war or simply just an interesting topic, if you wanna have one then simply just post something interesting...
5. Post in other sections, get to know people, vm them, there are many ways to get friends but if you dont do something about it then i dont know what else you can do, also most people on the base are friendly.
