I will be getting a PS4 for Christmas.


Target had a deal going on to get the bundle pack with GTAV for 15% off, and my gf used her 10% discount because she works there, so I just got my PS4 for like $300. The best part is I didn't even pay for it. She did.

I'm just wondering if the correct decision was made however. I mean sure getting it 100 bucks off is nice and all, but does everything the PS4 offer better then the Xbox One?

I bought a Xbone last weekend. Bestbuy was having a deal on games, buy two get one free. So I bought the Assasin's Creed bundle, which came with the Xbone, Black Flag and the new Assasin's Creed game, and then bought Far Cry 4, COD and got Destiny for free. Cost me 450 bucks for the console and 5 games. I like it. I've always been a Xbox guy though. The two seem to be pretty much the same honestly though

I got mine for 510 something, because I got two games with it, destiny ( I have it for ps3 as well) and Dragon age and also a year of plus . A ps4 is a great investment it needs more interesting games.

Nah, I live in the U.S. What is CEX?

PS4 has pretty much no games as of right now. That's the only downside. The even released the Metal Gear games on Xbox One. As far as I know, PS4 has no exclusives yet. I haven't played Destiny yet, since I have a career, but I heard it's addicting

It's a cool game, too short tho.....but the franchise just started, I don't think it will take you that long. But whatever game you feel go for it.

Destiny is not addictive its pretty much a grid, is awesome yes but I find myself wanting to take brokes after a weeks time. Its really repetitive, the dlc helps but not much.

I just got it because it was free and my friend bought it, so I thought it would be fun to play together. Can you player kill? I know there's an arena type mode, but I don't like fighting fair.

The Crucible's iron banner is the player killing mode the status matter in, but it only come every mouth or so, normal crucible is pretty awesome too, the game has a solid pvp system.

You should not get Destiny.
And the PS4 was the perfect choice, I sold my Xbone at the start of this year, because it was so annoying. I'm not bashing the console, but it's way too big and has some annoying features and I personally don't like the controller at all, even though, I loved the 360 one.

However, here are some games you could/should buy

- The Last of us Remastered
- Far Cry 4
- Assassin's Creed Unity
- GTA V
