If Space Is Limitless Then How Would We Know It Has No Limit??

Space has limits!
Earlier scientists used to believe the space always existed so it is limitless,but 40-50 years ago people revealed the big bang,and the stars go away from each other more and more so they revealed the universe has a start so it expands!!!!
Edit:if something expands then it has limits,simple!

what? that makes no sense, you can have something infinitely expand and the only limit would be the origin.

Besides big bang is just the current theory, most agree it has too many flaws to actually make sense.
