So I was on my way back from vacation from another country when I met this person on my flight sitting next to me. Very cute, smart, fun to chat with all 12 hours of the flight. They explained to me this was their first time ever coming to America, and to top it all off, they were coming here for school and to live indefinitely. They didn't know anything about America, and considering I lived in the area they were coming to live, I offered to show them around some days.

Well, long story short, we had to go through separate customs as I lived in the states and they were from another country, so they told me to wait on the other side. As foolish as I was, I didn't think to grab her number prior, thinking Customs exits out one area, but thank you to LAX and my foolishness, there were now multiple exits as the airport was under construction. We ended up losing each other regretfully.

I considered it a lost cause after an hour waiting, so I ended up leaving (since she had a school picking her up, so I wasn't driving her anywhere). However, I honestly felt we bonded very well, she wanted me to show her around the city, etc., so I racked my brain and realized I remember she told me which school it was picking her up for her subject.

So question is, should I or should I not head over to the campus, apologize for losing each other at the terminal, and ask her out about the city to show her around? I personally am not a fan of just doing something like that as it would seem creepy and awkward if done to me (and it has been done a few times), but that is how I feel about situations like that, not sure how others would feel.
