Naruto and Sasuke are eternal rivals, they keep each other on their toes and have been the reason for each other getting so strong. Someone who doesn't even come into the entire story this late cannot be considered a rival.

You guys just don't understand his character or Naruto's. I guess there is a certain level of maturity and open mindedness needed for that.

anyway back to the thread, yes it seems obito has taken sasuke's place as his rival despite the seemly huge power gap between them buuut still kishi tries to revive the rivalry that existed long back in part one between naruto and sauke but imo thats as forced and lame as the sannin parallel and sakura catching up to naruto and sasuke lmfao

1. Obito is always portrayed as Dark Naruto, who had similar kind of life Naruto had (life of looser), he had went through all those hardships and now emerged as the most powerful shinobi, but he became using darker ways.
2. Sasuke is still significant, he isn't at all similar to Naruto born as a genius a guy who can even go to Orochimaru to achieve power, infact he is exactly opposite of Naruto and that's why his rival, you can call him vegita of Naruto.
So they are totally different in Obito vs Naruto it is Dark Naruto vs Naruto
and in case of Sasuke vs Naruto it is Hatred vs Love..
