There's a guy who did this research (or copied) about One Piece and Oda's quotes. It's interesting reading them.

Disappointed about Luffys mom though, why does she have to look tough and not beautiful, when his dad is already tough looking and not beautiful. His mom needs to be soft and nice, she doesn't need to mimic Dragon. Maybe that's why Luffy doesn't stay with them.

EDIT: Now that I think about, he was probably talking about Dadan, she took care of him and was strict. Of course Oda that's not his real mom, what a troll.

"Two fighting against one isn't fair" :)

I don't care whatever ppl complain in middle stage of a story because I am confident pf highlight scenes being interesting

If i cut corners in work just because One Piece has become popular it would ruin everything

A life sized giraffe model XD

Nice read

I'll be 30 years old when One Piece finishes, that is, if I can believe Oda now. >_>

And, Oda, why do you have a giraffe in your house??? O_O Your muse?

That's exactly what I thought. Have we really seen no pirates with eyepatches?
I remember seeing some Oda's sketches where Luffy and Zoro had eyepatches. I'll try to find that. Will edit.

This is it:

That awkward moment when you realize this is a pirate manga, and we have not seen one pirate with an eyepatch. Good thing he knew that.

One more piece of recent information about Oda and One Piece to feast your eyes on. Insane numbers.

1997, 1st year - 300k copies printed, 1 volume, 300k copies per volume! Note that 300k is the first print of volume 1, because it was released in 24 of December, a second print would be accounted in the next year.
1998, 2nd year - 6 Million copies printed, 6 volumes, 1 Million copies per volume.
1999, 3rd year - 17 Million copies printed, 11 volumes, 1.55 Million copies per volume.
2000, 4th year - 37 Million copies printed, 16 volumes, 2.31 Million copies per volume. An anime boost of 767k copies per volume printed, and this only if we don't account the 2 first months of anime boost in the previous year.
