I finally realized what feels "off" about 631

I'm one of the people that really loved chapter 631. However, for some reason something about it felt strange. I finally realized what that was. After Sasuke arrived, he completely ignored Naruto. That's not exactly the exciting reunion I was hoping for.

Below is a picture of the closest I could find to Sasuke acknowledging Naruto's presence. He's actually looking at Sakura, but to do so Naruto lands in his peripheral vision:

I think he ignored him just cause its war. they dont have time to spare. Naruto didn't really attempt to talk to him either, they both realize the seriousness of whats goin on. after this is all over, bet they will have quite the talk. Even Sasuke knew Naruto was his best friend, and he thought bout him still after he left, so yea once this is over I say they will be back to normal soon enough

Yea i feel ya i was a lil disappointed. He noticed sakura and the other people and he he acts like naruto is not there. You cant miss him he is the only ninja wearing that bright ass orange and yellow hair, he is a walking traffic cone getting your attention. LOL

Not really. During each one of team 7 meet-ups, he would have a staring contest with Naruto, completely ignoring Sakura. This time it's the other way around. Pretty interesting!

Aha, no problem. Though in all honesty, I agree with you. Sasuke's lack of recognition for Naruto is a little awkward. Then again. . .if I ran away from my village, killed my brother, tried to kill my old team mates, etcetera. . .meeting back up with my best friend would, in fact, be a little awkward. Sasuke is probably just a little gun shy.

I noticed that, too. He called Sakura by her name and called the others noisy, but never acknowledged Naruto. Personally I think it represents their bond. They don't need words, just silent confirmation. Many comrades do that on the battlefield.

Yeaah sasusakumoment were leading more than any other in this chapter xD
I would assume because of what happened between them and he is still annoyed of naruto, don't forget their last reunion and oro said naruto's chakura is make him mad..
