I dont's understand Minatos speed??

Many say that Minato have normal base speed, and he does seem to have when he fights. But in some situation he goes
faster than the blink of an eye without using FTG. Naruto chapter 501 - Page 3-4. Naruto chapter 655 - Page 6-7. If he can go as fast as he do in these to chapters, than why use FTG?

He needs to be somewhere right then and now. He isn't necessarily stupid fast with base speed, it's his reaction times that make him one of the best shinobi's.

This, Minato is just crazy fast, easily one of the best Hokages.

Instant will always be faster than 'super fast'.

FTG also allows him to travel between every village in 5 seconds.

That's why he needs FTG. It has it's uses. Same way base ay is super fast yet he boosts his speed with raiton armor.

Minato speed and reflexs are quite impressive even without using ftg thats why he along with tobirama are known as the fastest ninjas to live/exist. the FTG is a technique that allows you to instantly teleport to the marked formula seal. even without the ftg they are still fast
