I don't understand, why at the end of the pain invasion arc, when naruto came back to the village it was sakura who came and hugged him. I know it was a cute scene and all but don't you all think that it should've been Hinata? I mean she went out and confronted pain, and nearly died because of it. Hinata should've been the one to hug naruto, it would've been a like a nice circle, she goes out to fight for the man she loves and she finnaly earns his respect at the end. I don't know, so what do you all think? this really confuses me >_< anyone can provide me with some proper insight

Well Hinata is not as bold as Sakura and Sakura is just being familiar with naruto as a long time friend, no romance intended. It really is naruto's fault for not hugging Hinata since he is the man and he should be grateful.

I think we are all confused by Naruto's love status here. I mean Hinata told him he loved her and he just like ignored it.

Sakura is from his team and was really worried about him, plus Hinata had already done her thing.

For compensation though, we now have Hinata and Naruto holding hands and sharing chakra and all that cute stuff.

Sakura is in the same team with Naruto and she spent a lot more time with Naruto than Hinata, most of all she is one of the main characters.

I think part of it is that Sakura hugged Naruto, and not thst Naruto hugged Sakura....Hinata was still dealing with a bit of a schenk would so that never helps XD!

Besides it was a really nice scene simply because you see how close of friends that they've become....practically siblings so seeing them hug was nice ^.^

I agree on everything .
But why everyone say she is wounded .She wasn't that wounded sakura healed her and she was there when sakura hugged naruto (hinata was perfectly fine ) .

The wound wasn't the problem it's because she is shy plus naruto and sakura like brother and sister .
