Byakugan can see genjutsu. All dojutsus can.

It is able to see Genjutsu.

And Ao at one point deduced Mifune was under a genjustu due to his chakras being disturbed.

The differences in the perception of the sharingan and byakugan is that the byakugan can differentiate specific chakras from individuals.
The sharingan can't.So the Byakugan is better at detecting genjustu.

The sharingan in of itself can't see or detect genjsutu only chakra itself which on can deduce if genjustu is at play depending on the circumstance.

I don't think so. Like the Sharingan and Rinnegan, Byakugan can see chakra. Hyuga's can see it build and see it flow, but I don't think they can outright dodge it.
