I don't think Preta path can absorb Susanoo

link me to where you saw that because every other source tells us Susano'o is pure chakra

I don't think that Preta Path can absorb susanoo because susanoo is a conversion from chakra into matter. That's why I don't think it can be absorbed. As far as I know Preta Path cannot absorb matter. And MS converts the users chakra into matter for susanoo and amaturasu:ice:

Just my opinion so tell me what you guys think. It makes sense that susanoo is matter because its a humanoid. :ice:

Susanoo is a materialised chakra according to the databook. Further the MS helps spatially recompose the user's chakra (with the appropriate 'elemental' chakra) to generate Susanoo. In other words Susanoo is chakra and is therefore absorbent.

Physical matter like kunai or Taijutsu attacks, no. Matter generated by chakra such as Susanoo or generic Ninjutsu, yes.

fire is a form of energy, not matter.

Susanoo and all other Ninjutsu are formed by spatially recomposition and adding the necessary elements.
Preta Path works by REVERSING the process so in the end it ends up absorbing raw chakra.

Susanoo is formed with raw chakra primarily* as are other Ninjutsu, thus it will be absorbed.

*It takes raw chakra to get Susanoo up and running, then the appropriate processes/chakra manipulation materialises the jutsu.

Can't he? If he can't then I say he can't absorb susano. Things like amaturasu and susano are not normal ninjutsu, that is obvious.

Don't worry nagato fans overrate preta path as if it has no weakness. Even though naruto defeated preta path twice in his battle. Also the same way he took them down he can counter it with nagato when he is using preta.

Amaterasu is a ninjutsu same as susanoo they are different from others because is a dojutsu too but it doesn't change the fact that they are ninjutsu,in that case nagato use shinra tensei because it was more faster than absorbing it or because he wanted to use shinra tensei but it can be absorbed both susanoo and amaterasu: )
