Well, I don't see Naruto ending nowhere near..
I mean look at it.. It looks like Sasuke vs Naruto is gonna end the anime series very soon but.. c'mon this can't be the final fight. How strong Naruto is? As strong as one kage, or two kage.. And look at Madara Uchiha. Naruto has to surpass everyone before the series end. But I don't see him anywhere near. He can't compare to Uchiha Madara and so Hashirama. As for Sasuke, Kabuto recently showed the Dragon Sage mode. So, I think Sasuke will master that tech before he faces Naruto for real. And it somehow shows that he is weaker than Kabuto and obviously Madara. He hasn't completed his Susano yet.
So this isn't the final face-off between Sasuke and Naruto.

I also think that Naruto shippuden will end in a year or a little bit later but maybe there will be a new series of Naruto. I think there will be onyl one last match between Sasuke and naruto.

I think Naruto will regenarate before the final fight.

I see the series going into next year. There are to many unanswered questions and I highly doubt that Naruto beats Tobi in this fight. I suspect Naruto loses the 9 tails and has to fight the the 10 tail in a world ruled by Tobi. Besides I doubt the Rinnegan and Perfect Susanoo are easy to awaken. You probably have to do something very drastic. So we still have a few more fights. Plus Naruto has not reached his peak yet. If you recall there is a jutsu his father invented that he left Naruto to master. There is still a lot that hasn't happened yet. I say we have a another full year and a half before the series is over.

Although I believe that the climax is very close.
