Why can't you debate against Naruto characters in MAC Discussions? I think NV has really stepped up in their power scale, and I would really like to debate against NV characters. Yet, I was told by Caliburn that it's against the rules (and have had threads deleted). This is just something minor, but i don't see it's relevence.

The reason is simple: you cannot make a reasonable and valid discussion using invalid and unreasonable propositions and conditions. The thread, comparison, theory or wtv becomes then simply spam. In Bleachverse the laws of power, physics, etc are different than the laws in Narutoverse. In one side you have something called chakra, in another you have something called reishi. Neither of which is related. In other terms, its like comparing Beef with Lettuce. You cannot say Beef is a better vegetable nor that lettuce is a better meat. It doesn't make sense. This lack of sense and the fanatism and disruptive behavior associated with VS threads by their own nature lead to horrendous flame wars. Its not like this wasn't tested and evaluated before. You guys forget that it has been proven to not work and thus why that rule was enforced.
Everyone can say otherwise but you cannot compare Kakashi with Ulquiorra or Natsu with Ichigo when they come from different worlds, different universes with different laws and setups. It doesn't make sense nor is it logical and in the end, no one can claim to be right which leads to arguments, then hurt egos, then flames, then infractions, then moaning, then complaints, then trashing threads. Its useless.
