well believe it or not girls read this too and u know them and plus it doesnt have to be deep love like romance it could just be love if this series was just fighting fighting and more fighting it wouldnt be very good in my opinion the whole love thing gives the series a twist somtimes althoguh i can say that this topic isnt really that inportant right now especially from the latest chapters

True but you gotta remember that a lot of people care about the romance in the series. I think it COULD have added some much-needed emotional depth (sure it's emotional sometimes but it's basically like a cracked record - keeps repeating itself over and over). However, since love is portrayed atrociously for the most part, I'm not interested.

Although both Shikamaru and Temari seem to have a normal teenage crush going on. At least they weren't hopelessly in love with each other when they were six...
