I don't like how they're mixing fillers with cannon now.

Is this a desperate attempt or just plain disregard for anyone's views but their own(animators). If more than half the audience does not approve of and ignores the fillers why don't they just accept that fact and do something else, maybe work on better fillers that aren't completely non sense. Why are they now starting to add cannon moments to fillers and vice-versa?

Is it because their self made story sucks so damn bad that they have to blatantly disrespect the manga and start adding manga moments to their garbage just to make it less bad? This started happening just recently, I first noticed this in the episode following "Dream World". It was where Obito walks up to Nagato and Yahiko and talk to them. After their chat the filler starts running out of nowhere. WTF?

In the Kakashi fillers, they showcased the moment where Obito is seen throwing the flowers on Rin's grave.

Why is this happening? Don't the animators have any regard for the fans wishes at all?

I hate the fillers, but I hate this new thing even more.

Which is why I stopped viewing the anime a long time ago. I only go back to watch the training/power up episodes and fights to give me a better visual aid. Also for the fact that the fights are epic in animation haha

I don't like these fillers that much either but the way I see it mixing a cannon flashback or two with filler episodes is a good way to actually save us more time.

The last thing I want to see is another flashback during a good fight so might as well show it during a filler and get it out of the way.

I think that is still to come. They have to redo that whole entire scene after these fillers end. That scene is a necessity for Obito's development. I really prayed the anime would stay awesome like it was in part 1 and pre-war arc shippuden. My prayers weren't answered.

I agree. I'd rather just have the show take long breaks between seasons like most shows do instead of forcing fillers on us. That way they can focus on making more quality episodes instead of quantity. The large majority of the fillers also make no sense and they especially mess with the canon arcs. The World War arc is a perfect example of that.

I just watch it to watch it. I'm fairly indifferent on it. Like, the Kakashi filler stuff going on it great material for filler, I love the background story on a character. Though I quit when it's the out of place, useless filler. But overall filler is ehhh... Too much bs we don't need or that is way too out of place. The most annoying being the constant flashbacks. Unless they were actually there in the manga or serve some purpose, they shouldn't be there. It'd be better if they took breaks and brushed up on their animation skills and worked on the story more.

Hopefully when they pick things back up, they pick 'em up strong and improve on the stuff we seem to have problems with. I'm having high hopes given where they left on and where they are in the War Arc.

They can do whatever the hell they please, which by the looks of it seems to be the case. Since when have they made episodes half cannon and half filler? Or added 2 minutes of cannon to a full filler? Not since recently.

I really don't understand the logic behind this but it feels like they wanna force us to watch their garbage by exploiting our preferences. They know we will watch the cannon no matter what so they've started adding fillers to them.

I don't understand why they don't. All series have seasons, they take breaks between seasons and come back batter than ever. Why can't anime be like that? Japan is just weird.

If the fillers were actually good and the story was written by someone who knew what they were doing there would be no complaints, no one wants their fav shows to take breaks but the content is so bad everyone feels like they should.

The animators are good at animating, that's their job. Not to create their own story and forcefully shove it down our throats. That's how bad the fillers are, it feels like they're made by someone who doesn't have a clue about the manga's details. They're just plain horrible.

And that's where you're DEAD WRONG! I pay for the manga AND the anime sir. I have a yearly subscription to Viz($26) and a monthly subscription to Crunchyroll($7) JUST for Naruto. I don't read or watch anything else. So ask before you assume.

The Naruto animators fails to fuse the ends of a filler and the start of a canon and vice-versa.
I like One Piece switching better than Naruto.
