So I was thinking about how badass it is to have your brother's eyes for new powers, i just realized why the f(............................)ck Uchiha brothers didn't just give each other each others eyes?

The only information given to us about the process of obtaining ems is that you have to take your uchiha brothers mangekyo sharingan and replace yours, what you said is speculation, so by that knowledge givin to us, me and the op are correct

The possibility of two brothers unlocking the MS were low. Also, I think the user's emotions plays a huge role in this, as they both need to have and support each other's ideals depending on which one is sacrificing his eyes for the other. That, or they simply didn't have that many MS users, seeing how even 3 tomoe users were few stated by sasuke in part 1.

First part was meaning that I don't think they knew it'd give Madara EMS. Only after Madara realized he got "eternal light" he named them "Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan". Or something like that, my memory is rusty. :sdo:

It wasn't from what Itachi said it's the pictures. It shows 4 Sharingan's and 1 Rinnegan.(EMS) And ET bring the person back from before they died.
