Why is Bolt angry at his dad for not spending time with him, when Naruto does spend time with him?

Also, why was Shikamaru stopping Naruto's clone? Why does it matter when his original is doing work?

He was playing hide and seek or whatever. Atleast in the translation I saw. It wasn't the first time either.

Yeah he's busy, but a clone isn't going to hinder him any.

I can't show you the scans but notice how Boruto looks really sad and Salad tells Naruto to go look the other way. He does not feel like it is legit because it is not his real father.

That makes sense.

There's still no reason as to why Shikamaru would keep Naruto from using clones.

Plot probably. Maybe it has something to do with the information gained after a clone comes back? That would distract Naruto all the same too
