Lately I've been having body aches, chest pain when I cough and sneeze. I do not feel fatigue. This happened immediately after I left the gym two days ago. I am also suspecting I haven't been getting good sleep. My bed is fairly new because I just bought it about 8 months ago and it's broken into. I've slept on it fine until last week where I've been getting back pains, neck pains, and I can't seem to sleep.

I'm assuming it's my lack of sleep due to an uncomfortable bed.

I know this might be a weird topic to discuss but I'm fairly concerned because I go somewhere very important in my life in March and I just hope it's just a simple virus passing by. I'm very healthy and I rarely get sick.

Any thoughts? It's a big concern and I'd much appreciate some honest answers.

First, research the symptoms and try to correlate them to any known cases. It could be a disease, or it could just be lack of sleep. If these symptoms don't let up for the next few days, consult a physician and if nothing comes back, go do some tests. From personal experience, I let off symptoms for far too long and now I have to live with a life long disease because of it. The second you see symptoms and they seem abnormal, check them out.

I hope I don't have a disease. I did get tested for STD's a couple months back because I didn't trust this girl but they called back and said my results were normal. Although I might have tested too early for anything to show up but I'm hoping the results are true and there isn't anything wrong with me.

I am going to try to consult a doctor tomorrow and figure out what's going on.

That's what I plan on doing and I hope it goes away. It maybe just a virus passing through because I don't have a fever or feel fatigue.

Hahaha. I agree. I did go decently hard. Cause I did work on my back and shoulders the most that day and I'm feel soreness and pain in it especially my neck whenever I wake up.

I am taking days off to recover but now I get a cough that hurts in my chest.

Go see the doc. It could def be the lack of rest though.. your muscles need the sleep to repair nd rebuild themselves.

I guess your body is disoriented as though your abs and biceps are developing muscle but the shoulders, chest, triceps and traps remain the same. It is called the gymrusheritus and is highly contagious. Keep a safe distance from your friends and family until you console a doctor. I recommend J. Bravo

joke aside, your muscles prob cannot repair the tissue due to lack of proper sleep and maybe a nutrients deficiency. Keep up the good work though, I like to see fanatic gym go'ers. Fix your bed, a good night rest is actually more important than working out daily. I can workout once a week and remain or gain physique. just because i eat a LOOOOT of steamed vegs and such and sleep properly. (if i don't have to get up at 5;30 for work)

Narutobase is an anime/manga forum not a health forum where you can go and seek medical advise. I suggest you see a doctor. Good-luck!

Big tip-off is "when I cough and sneeze." You do realize that both of those, as well as body aches, are symptoms of a viral infection. You do not need to run a fever or feel fatigue with a virus.

Go see a doctor to be sure, and don't worry about it. Stress decreases immune response and delays healing. Good luck !

Obviously, but it could be bronchitis. In which I really hope not.

Doesn't have to be. It could just be his chest muscles aching and tense painfully when he sneezes. Happened to me in the past
But than again, idk if its his airways that hurt or his chest muscles.
