Keep in mind that the elder toad did say that prophecies are not certain and can "change" this is a big part of it. Sasuke has always been pivitol in Naruto's development. A Protagonist to any sotry is only as good as the Antagonist.

The child of prophecy needs a balance, like in all things, where there is light a shadow will always be cast. Sasuke represents Naruto's balance Yin and Yang as NarutoB so eloquently stated.

I don't see anything wrong with Sasuke receiving the Rikudo Sennin's power.

The war started because Indra waged it against Ashura after the Sage chose Ashura to be his successor. The Sage didn't pay enough to attention to Indra, but that doesn't excuse starting a blood feud that lasts for all time. The Sage and Indra are both at fault, now is the time for Sasuke to succeed where Indra failed; make peace with your brother. That's the entire point.

It was obvious that if Naruto is younger son then sasuke will be elder.
Madara and sage both stated that two opposite forces working together can bring peace which means Indra and Ashura working together .
in short Naruto and sasuke
But tailed beasts entrusted Naruto so most probably Naruto will be sage's successor and will travel world to achive final peace

it actually makes sens to for we know that Sasuke was born before Naruto so Sasuke being the elder son maes perfect sens

Sasuke is not a Child of Prophecy. The prophecy said a "blue eyed boy and student of Jiraiya". Sasuke is neither of those, ergo he's not included in the prophecy.

But Sasuke is, however, the reincarnation of Indra who is the start of all this nonsensical hate and fighting. It's only fitting Sasuke have a right to rectify this by aiding Naruto in whatever capacity he can.

Sasuke was included in the prophecy if I am not mistaken. It states that he would fight a boy with powerful eyes right?
