Really, it seems the base is overflooding with threads bashing Kaguya and the whole plot in general, ranting endlessly how the manga has become stupid, in one really retarded instance even linking the death of Kishi's dad to the supposed decline of the plot etc.

But I have to say I completely dig it. I really like the whole plot about Kaguya, her sons, the Shinju, the forgotten era back then etc. I find that by introducing this new "layer" or "dimension" of the plot the manga went into a new, fresh and interesting direction.

Kaguya, for the longest time, was an irrelevant character. It's not as good as it could have been because we are introduced to a new enemy that we have never seen or even heard of. I liked Pain and all, but introducing new characters that didn't even have a mention, like him and Kaguya, isn't the best route.

This is very true, its still holding its place on the top five list and has received critical acclaim.

As for me personally, I am enjoying it, the manga has its flaws but I can live with them, Kaguya is like a final boss from an RPG game, she is the evil deity with BZ as her fanatical worshipper and servant.
