FYI the When the Hagoromo Hamura Kaguya indra ashura arc aired in the anime everyone said it was filler but what happened later on? a interview with SP confirmed they have been asking questions to Kishi about the arc which confirms it as canon with Kishi involvement that's why don't consider the anime as filler eventually it's gonna be proved canon. Fillers are like the chunin exams arc/ninja guardian arc/utakata arc/guren yukimaru arc etc these are filler but boruto series is different it's all different it can't be labeled as filler

They throw everything together because the freaking anime/manga won't make together 500 chapters. If it wasn't for Naruto legacy, this «show» would probably be cancelled.

Zero character development so far, the rest is futorology and not really train riding material if you are at least a bit demanding in terms of manga/anime content, but this is my opinion and we know how that goes, opinions are like a**holes, everybodys got one.
