Didn't realize Jiraiya starts off in SM when it takes him time to go in it. You're expecting him to break the genjutsu with those two when they're not with him for the start every fight he's in. He loses before he can even go SM. Lol you got J-man relying on SM over here.

Genjutsu probably holds J-man for a few seconds before he even realizes he's in it (and that's being nice) Itachi's genjutsu is realistic so by the time J-man realizes he's in it, he runs the chance of getting Amaterasu'd or finished with Tsukuyomi. Or he could cut his head off instead of a hand like he did with Oro

Well J-Man needs two toads to form sage mode acording to the manga. So the fact that there are 2 targets must avoid his genjutsu at all times while aiding j-man is hard to believe. J-man without sage mode cant beat itachi. The only possibility I see is the toads using sage art creating dust at all times. avoiding his genjutsu. Also this would create to many openings for itachi to use against them. Plus his clones are also skilled. Also you need to face the fact that sound genjutsu is a linear attack. In the manga and anime the surrounding summons were not affected by this. Plus they showed the sound vibration moving in only one area. When they produce the sound jutsu they have to pause and attempt to hit itachi while not moving. Itachi will notice this and use amaterasu and hit them. Since light is faster than sound and itachi reaction time is amazing compared to all ninja's. He will most likely win this fight. (I used most common sense in this)

People are not realizing Tsukiyomi isn't a regular Genjutsu. Ma and Pa can't break him out of it if he's caught. It put Kakashi and Sasuke in a mini-coma, it is in a league of its own.

He could even make them hide in a Toad's belly.

"Letting" him set up is inevitable. He can form seals faster than a sharingan can perceive. Jiraiya can't even move faster than a sharingan can perceive. He literally cannot stop this from happening.

Itachi has no counters for Needle besides Susano'o.
