Ok so I ****ing call BS on this: in the third Naruto data book (which roughly covers up to the Sasuke and Sai arc) Sakura's Taijutsu is LESS than Naruto's: hers is 3 and Naruto has his at 3.5. Remember, this was BEFORE SM Naruto and BM Naruto. At this time Sakura had showed great Taijutsu, able to shatter a HUGE boulder with a single punch. Keep in mind that Sakura had been learning under the tutelage of TSUNADE, considered the greatest medical nin and Kunoichi of all time and noted to have physical strength greater than that of A himself. Can you explain this to me?! I really don't see the logic to saying that Sakura had worse Taijutsu than Naruto by the time of the Sasuke and Sai arc.

taijutsu doesn't mean power, it means how good you are in hand-to-hand combat.
naruto clearly have better reflexes that sakura, hence why he have a higher score in taijutsu.

Agreed, the databooks need an updating.

The stat is about skill and not physical power for taijutsu.

The databooks aren't worth a damn anyways. Well, actually the author notes and stuff are, but the stats are more or less worthless. Kishi basically wrote over character birth dates and so on. I wouldn't put too much stock in what they say.

Just because you can shatter a huge boulder doesn't mean you good at hand-to-hand combat. Naruto has better fighting skills than Sakura because all she did was send chakra to her fist so her chakra control is better than Naruto's. Hence, Naruto has better skills in taijutsu.
