Because they don't actually improve preformance, they just damage you and slow you down.

Well, steroids improve performance, but it's only temporary. Look at Arnold, the guy had heart surgery for crying out loud.

There's no study that show hard drug's benefits outweigh the costs.

Also you can get high and still do all the things that are fun for you, or for anyone else.
